Job Description:



  • We are searching for a Facility Manager who shall be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our apartment buildings and estates.

  • He shall ensure that the facility is functioning efficiently and effectively and that all services and systems are operating properly.


Job Roles And Responsibilities:



  • Manage unplanned maintenance, repair and recovery for the facility as required

  • Maintaining and managing the facility’s physical infrastructure, including its HVAC systems, plumbing, electrical systems, generator, elevator servicing and other mechanical equipment.

  • Developing and implementing facility management policies and procedures to ensure the smooth operation of the facility.

  • Ensure that the facility is fully operational with all utilities functioning properly

  • Managing and supervising a team of maintenance and support staff.

  • Monitor and ensure that agreed work by the team or support staff are completed satisfactorily and follow up on any deficiencies.

  • Overseeing the budget for the facility and ensuring that expenses are kept within budgetary constraints.

  • Monitoring and coordinating the facility’s security, including access control, alarm systems, and surveillance cameras.

  • Ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding building codes, safety standards, and environmental regulations.

  • Managing and overseeing facility construction and renovation projects, including working with contractors and ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.

  • Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, contractors, and other stakeholders involved in the facility’s operations.

  • Responding to and resolving facility-related issues and emergencies as they arise.

  • Communicating with senior management and other stakeholders about facility management issues and concerns.

  • Prepare weekly and monthly report of the facility activities.

  • Maintain detail log of complaints, response and response time.

  • Ensure zero downtime of utility: water, electricity, waste management, security, and sanitation.


Requirements:



  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor’s Degree qualification in Facility Management, Estate Surveyor, Estate Management, Estate Valuer or any other related field of study.

  • Minimum of 2 years work experience with in depth knowledge of real estate industry and its current events


Salary: ₦100,000.00 - ₦160,000.00 per month
