Job Description

• Register and checks in patients, records or retrieves patient histories, takes vital signs as appropriate, and prepares patient for diagnostic proceduresLog client into the RIS/LIS for the respective Diagnostic tests as captured on the request form.


• Conduct ECG, Echo and Stress ECG for clients


• Setting lines for patients.


• Protects patient confidentiality, ensuring the protection of health information is secured by not leaving the request form in plain sight and minimizing the LIS before leaving the desk.


• Attend to patients in an emergency condition, assess, stabilize, and monitor patients’ condition.


• Resolution of price-related queries and direction of the clients to payment point.


• May also coordinate office activities and perform a range of cardiology and radiology functions in support of unit activities.


• Plan the patient sequence as per their waiting numbers, and explain to the patient about the duration of the Turn Around Time for their investigations/tests.
