- We are presently seeking an enthusiastic, experienced, and self-motivated Pharmacist to join our dynamic team.
- Reporting to the Pharmacist in charge, your primary role will be to help fulfill orders and provide exceptional service and advice to every customer.
- The successful applicant will be a qualified pharmacist with a background in community pharmacy, exceptional drug product knowledge, and a flexible working style. You will also need to be outgoing and team-oriented.
Job Functions/Responsibilities
- Compounding and dispensing medications, as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitoring customers’ drug therapies, advising interventions, and informing customers of any potential side effects.
- Instructing customers on how and when to take prescribed medications.
- Conducting health and wellness screenings such as taking blood pressure, temperature measurements, and checking blood sugar levels.
- Keeping accurate customer records.
- Ensuring a safe and clean working environment.
- Managing Pharmacy Inventory and Stocktaking
- Completing operational requirements of the pharmacy, including verifying order entries, maintaining records of controlled substances, and charges, and removing expired and/or damaged drugs from the pharmacy’s inventory.
- Adhering to applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures governing pharmaceutical practice.
- Carrying out other duties as assigned by management
Requirements/Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Pharmacy
- 1 - 2 years relevant work experience.
- Proven experience as a community pharmacist.
- Detailed understanding and knowledge of dosage requirements and administration, chemical compounds, and pharmaceutical brands.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and software applications, used by pharmacies
- Great organizational skills.
- Strong Operations and Supervisory skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Other Conditions:
- They must be very hardworking, target oriented, with a high level of integrity and leadership skills
- Extensive knowledge of community practice is mandatory
