The Account Manager is the relationship Manager between the organizations and existing agencies. Being the primary point of contact between the organization and the customer, you will work to achieve predetermined goals focused on growth, performance, and retention, while always ensuring customer satisfaction.

Achieve assigned booking target
Achieve assigned share target
Ensure all contracts are renewed before expiry
Proactively address underperforming accounts
Successfully oversee the installation of additional products
Responsibilities
Own and effectively manage an assigned territory of agencies
Prioritize effectively, recognize and segment customers in line with revenue contribution, as agreed with your manager, within the territory and treat accordingly
Understand, analyze, and manipulate internal and external data, into meaningful and actionable insights for the purpose of growing the company's share within agencies
Act as a trusted advisor. Engage effectively with customers, and understand their businesses and challenges. Make informed proactive suggestions to help them reach their goals
Keep knowledge up to date of the company product lines and third-party products and be able to effectively discuss and communicate the value of these products to customers
Give effective presentations as required to promote the value and benefits of the organization
Prepare and deliver customer business reviews as agreed with your manager
Ability to overcome objections to achieve contract renewal signature and growth objectives
Being visible with customers visiting them and being on top of their issues
Requirements
Solid two years minimum account management experience in the GDS business
Strong commercial and numerical skills.
Eye for detail in all work, including contract preparation and review
Tech-savvy, with the ability to communicate technical product features effectively and enthusiastically to business owners and decision-makers
Understanding of the agency landscape including competitive information, key trends, opportunities, and threats
Strong Communication Skills and Competent at presenting performance data, products, and services
Ability to Follow the processes and procedures as it relates to the role of Account Manager
Flexibility and willingness to take on ad hoc tasks as requested by the manager
Ability to travel as and when required even on short notice. This is a field-based position
Self-driven with the ability to work without close supervision
