Qualifications

• Candidates must possess a Doctorate Degree in any of the following: Mathematics, Statistics, or Economics, from an accredited University.


• 7 - 10 years experience in the Educational sector.


• Candidate Should have cognate experience for the position, preferably as Deputy Director of Academic Planning from a recognized university.


• Must be knowledgeable on government policies relating to admission of students, accreditation of courses, planning, and management of the academic program.


• Must be able to assist the Vice-Chancellor in all Accreditation matters and also advise Departments and Faculties of program review and preparation for NUC accreditation visits.


• Must be able to promote linkages and affiliations with other universities, institutions, and organizations for Human Resource capacity building and knowledge transfer. Must be capable of developing, nurturing, and supporting academic programs.


• Must be computer literate and proficient in relevant computer applications as applicable in running a modern Directorate of Academic Planning.


• Must have adequate exposure to key units of a University system.
