Description 



  • We are seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team on a temporary 20 days contract. We value the contributions of our employees and are committed to fostering a positive and productive work environment.The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of HR management experience, with a strong background in consulting and performance management.


Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement HR procedures, documents, forms and strategies to align with the company's goals and promote a positive work culture.

  • Oversee recruitment and selection processes, ensuring the timely and efficient onboarding of qualified candidates.

  • Conduct performance management activities, including performance appraisals, feedback sessions, and performance improvement plans.

  • Provide HR consulting services to clients.

  • Manage employee benefits and compensation programs, ensuring compliance with company policies and relevant regulations.

  • Coordinate training and development initiatives, identifying employee skill gaps and recommending appropriate training solutions.

  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and update HR policies as needed to reflect changes in legislation.

  • Handle employee grievances and disciplinary actions, following established procedures and ensuring fair treatment.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams on HR projects and initiatives to enhance overall organizational effectiveness.


Qualifications and Experience



  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Proven experience as an HR Manager with at least 4 years of hands-on HR management experience.

  • Strong background in HR consulting and performance management.

  • Thorough understanding of Nigerian labor laws and HR best practices.

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.

  • Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Ability to use Google Drive.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employee information with discretion.

  • HR certification (e.g., SHRM, CIPM) is an advantage.

  • Candidate should have a laptop
