Summary of Responsibilities
- Oversee planning, costing and negotiation with all suppliers to ensure the company enjoy competitive edge in all procurement.
- Ensure all supply meets the company’s requirement in terms of quality, quantity, price and delivery time.
- Ensure total compliance with relevant safety and hygiene on food and beverages items.
- Analysis of market i.e emerging trends as well as prices fluctuations and keep the management informed accordingly.
- Carry out proper sourcing of vendors, request for and analyse quotes.
- Ensure all procurement transactions are open and done at a competitive price.
- Coordinate all logistics to effectively deliver on result e.t.c.
Academic Qualification and Skills
- HND / BSc in Purchasing and Supply or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in a similar capacity.
- High level of Integrity and confidentiality.
- Good negotiation skill and ability to multitask.
- Attention to details and good record management.
- Ability to make a well informed presentations on financial reports.
- Experience in FCMG or Supermarket will be an added advantage.
- Computer savvy with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
