Job Overview:



  • The Lead Supply Chain Pharmacist (Digital Healthcare) will play a vital role in managing our supply chain operations related to pharmaceutical products.

  • This role will entail ensuring eective procurement, inventory management, and distribution of pharmaceutical supplies within the constraints of regulatory compliance and quality control.

  • The ideal candidate will have a background in pharmacy along with significant experience in supply chain management.


Responsibilities and Duties:



  • Lead and manage the end-to-end supply chain process for pharmaceutical products.

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies in line with the company's objectives.

  • Collaborate with suppliers to ensure timely procurement and delivery of pharmaceutical supplies.

  • Utilize supply chain software and systems for tracking and managing operations.

  • Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to avoid stockouts and overstocks.

  • Oversee the distribution process to ensure timely and ecient delivery to customers.

  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical and supply chain regulations.

  • Develop relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers and suppliers.

  • Manage a team of procurement and supply chain specialists.

  • Resolve any issues or discrepancies in the supply chain process.

  • Collaborate with other departments to optimize supply chain operations.

  • Maintain accurate records of all supply chain transactions.

  • Ensure quality control measures are implemented and adhered to.

  • Prepare and present supply chain performance reports to senior management.

  • Conduct regular audits to evaluate the efficiency of supply chain operations.

  • Implement cost-reduction strategies within the supply chain process.

  • Stay updated on the latest trends and developments in pharmaceutical supply chain management.

  • Participate in strategic planning and forecasting activities.

  • Ensure sustainability in all supply chain operations.

  • Collaborate with the IT department to optimize the digital sales process.

  • Provide professional advice on the safe use of medications to customers.

  • Assist in maintaining a safe and secure online environment for customers.

  • Advocate for patient adherence to medication plans and provide necessary support.

  • Participate in training and development initiatives.

  • Support company objectives and contribute to team efforts.


Qualifications and Skills:



  • Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy.

  • At least 3-5 years proven experience working in similar role involving digital healthcare supply chain pharmacy pharmacy.

  • Licensed pharmacist (full time and/or superintendent levels only) with significant experience in sales roles.

  • Proven experience in supply chain management and procurement.

  • In-depth knowledge of pharmaceutical products and regulations.

  • Proficiency in supply chain software and tracking systems.

  • Strong leadership and team management skills.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Exceptional communication and customer service skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

  • Must have experience using digital healthcare or ecommerce

  • Proficiency in digital technologies and systems.

  • Ability to travel 10%-20% of the time
