Responsibilities

• Develop the supply chain strategy (including input sourcing) and translate into actionable annual plans and drive implementation


• Coordinate import and export logistics activities across the group’s operations including multiple locations


• Establish, maintain and coordinate systems designed to ensure consistent sourcing of key input materials at levels that guarantee finished goods production at volumes required to service pre agreed customer requirements


• Set up buying /procurement teams to drive/execute strategic sourcing objectives (price intelligence, best execution from different sourcing options)


• Translate the business strategy into actionable annual plans and drive implementation


• Set up a performance management system and incentive structure to drive long term commitment of 3rd party aggregators


• Undertake regular risk assessment of input supply and finished product off take and develop contingency plans to mitigate identified risks


• Establish and manage relationships with freight forwarders, transporters, shipping lines/ agents, and other logistic partners across our operations


• Understand regulatory requirements for operations particularly import and export operations. This includes Form M processing, PAAR, HS Code, document vetting, etc.


• Manage relationships with key regulatory entities across the shipping & logistics value chain across the various operational jurisdictions of(i.e. Nigeria, Europe and Africa)

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree with 10-15 years experience.
