Job Summary

• We are looking for a high end Network Engineer (L2/L3) and in this Job Role will have expertise in one or more networking system technology areas.


• Specialists who apply their technical skills to support the operation and maintenance of vendor products, services, and solutions.


• Someone with enough knowledge to solve complex onsite network issues and being responsible for sizing, troubleshooting, and resolving critical client network situations.

Qualifications

• A degree in computer science, IT, systems engineering, or related qualification is recommended.


• Minimum of 3 years of work experience with Network incident detection, incident response, Switches, and router configuration.


• Possession of CCNA,CCNP or CCIE, Fortinet Certification


• Deep experience in managing ASR routers (Mandatory)


• Deep experience in managing Cisco SDN solutions such as ACI (Mandatory)


• Experience with Network protocols BGP, ISIS, OSPF and F5 infrastrastructure (Mandatory)


• Expertise in multicast and IPV6 design and configuration is a plus.


• Experience with Firewalls (functionality and maintenance), Cisco ASA, Fortinet (Added Advantage).


• Experience with Managing Cisco ISE (Added Advantage).


• Proficiency in any network automation tool and SolarWinds NMS.


• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment and deliver on tight deadlines.


• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind and outstanding problem solving skills.


• Great awareness of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.


• Must have an analytical mind and a detailed understanding of Network/cybersecurity methodologies.


• Good team player, Self-confident, motivated, and independent.


• Strong time management and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy, and maintain network routers, switches,wireless controllers, wireless access points, Firewalls.


• Automate network device configuration, operations, health and performance, and monitoring


• Diagnose and troubleshoot complex technology issues involving network services, serving as an escalation point for team members troubleshooting infrastructure network issues.


• Proactively monitor network and data center infrastructure, systems, and services to maximize performance and minimize downtime


• Identify, track, and remediate security vulnerabilities on network services and supporting systems.


• Serve as a networking technical project lead/project manager, developing implementation plans and coordinating projects involving infrastructure network integrations.
