Position Summary



  • We are seeking to hire a Restaurant General Manager who will be responsible for the overall management of the restaurant, including planning, organizing, directing, and controlling restaurant operations to ensure efficient and profitable operations.

  • The General Manager will work closely with other managers and employees to create a positive and productive work environment, maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness, and achieve financial objectives.


Responsibilities



  • Oversee day-to-day operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, service, and cleaning

  • Monitor and maintain high standards of food quality, customer service, and cleanliness

  • Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, including scheduling, payroll, and performance evaluations

  • Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract and retain customers

  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, and maintain accurate records

  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas of improvement and implement cost-control measures

  • Manage inventory and ordering of supplies, and ensure proper maintenance of equipment

  • Foster a positive and productive work environment, and resolve any customer complaints or employee issues that arise


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management, or a related field preferred

  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in restaurant management, with at least 10 years in a leadership role

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong leadership and decision-making skills

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Knowledge of restaurant industry trends and best practices

  • Familiarity with restaurant software and POS systems

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
