  • Using automated tools to extract data from primary and secondary sources

  • Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems

  • Developing and maintaining databases, and data systems – reorganizing data in a readable format

  • Performing analysis to assess the quality and meaning of data

  • Filter Data by reviewing reports and performance indicators to identify and reslove challenges

  • Using statistical tools to identify, analyze, and interpret patterns and trends in complex data sets that could be helpful for the diagnosis and prediction

  • Assigning numerical value to essential business functions so that business performance can be assessed and compared over periods of time.

  • Analyzing local, national, and global trends that impact both the organization and the industry

  • Preparing reports for the management stating trends, patterns, and predictions using relevant data

  • Working with Stakeholders, and management heads to identify process improvement opportunities, propose system modifications, and devise data governance strategies.

  • Preparing final analysis reports for the stakeholders to understand the data-analysis steps, enabling them to take important decisions based on various facts and trends.

  • Complete tasks as required by the Managing Director

  • Provide support and assistance to Senior Management Staff and ensure effective use of time and productive interaction with staff and the public.

  • Handles a wide range of administrative and executive support-related tasks involving the clerical, administrative function, research, and management roles.

  • Daily calendar management, booking travel, attending meetings, and taking the minutes, putting together deck content for staff and all-hand meetings, submitting expense reports.

  • Schedule management, office management, communication liaison, information preparation, company records management, data analysis, and representing the executive.

  • Establish and maintain confidential files/information and communications.

  • Must be highly organized and have great communication skills.

  • Assist with all office procedures and anticipating the need of the Managing Director.

  • Uses discretion and judgement and knowledge of organisation to facilitate the Managing Director's activities.

  • Keeping track of outstanding action required of Senior Management Staff and reminding them to complete them as required.

  • Prepare general documentation and spreadsheets

  • Handles confidential routine and non-routine information and explain policies when necessary.

  • Acts as project manager for special projects at the request of the Managing Director which may include: planning and coordinating multiple presentations, disseminating information, organizing work and complying with deadlines and priorities.

  • Assist with calculating and submitting expense reports

  • Assist with routine stock count

  • Undertake ad-hoc research work which could involve using the internet

  • Any other duties as required.


Requirements



  • B.Sc / HND in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Psychology or related field.

  • 4-5 years experience in data analyst role

  • Excellent communication and data interpretation skills

  • Strong verbal and written, communication skills

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and data analysis software

  • Proficient in PowerPoint presentation.


Salary
