• Knowledge of production and logistics in an FMCG / Food environment.


• Knowledge of Advanced Planning Systems (would be responsible for SAP R/3, ECC, BW once WAMCO implements SUMMIT).

Responsibilities

• Draw up operational and tactical planning for all Imported Finished Products, Raw & Packaging Materials.


• Planning and coordination of administrative activities to ensure West Africa Export production plans are met accordingly and also follows up to see that shipments are delivered in a timely manner.


• Ensure on-line booking of vessels with shipping lines, documentations and E2E shipment process of Export orders.


• Manage inventory levels according to the inventory management guidelines.


• Resolve operational failures and help implement processes for continual improvement.


• Manage service provider relationships to deliver against defined service, quality, cost and performance targets.


• Ensure prompt payment of local service providers according to FCW payment terms.


• Monitor or report on new or current legislation, which may impact on the operations.


• Act as liaison between the OpCo and Corporate Procurement in annual sea freight tenders.
