Job Description



Responsibilities:



  • Oversee the entire activities of the branch and provide an optimal level of compliance with company objectives

  • The ideal candidate will manage and ensure the smooth running of the entire branch operations

  • Responsible for overall performance and development of employees in the region

  • Identifying and monitoring of gaps of employees as related to their performance or job

  • Develop and achieve or exceed the sales volume/revenue goals targets for the region as defined in the business plan.

  • Support the sales team in the region to maximize performance and execute marketing plans

  • Creating development plans and forecasting sales targets and growth projections

  • Identifying market opportunities through meetings, networking and other channels

  • Meeting existing and potential clients and building positive relationships

  • Ensure the operational excellence and integrity of the branch

  • Develop action plans to enhance operational controls and optimize the client’s service

  • Manage and allocate resources effectively, including staffing, budgeting, and administrative tasks

  • Monitor and analyze key performance metrics, such as sales figures and client satisfaction, in order to drive operational efficiency and quality improvement

  • Conduct team meetings with employees in your branch and training sessions to enhance knowledge and skills

  • Ensure warehouse operations in your branch is coordinated effectively

  • Ensure that employees in the region adhere strictly to the company's occupational health and safety policies and guidelines

  • Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents)


Requirements



  • B.Sc., or HND in related discipline

  • Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience on the role

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • In-depth Knowledge of sales strategies and business development techniques

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook

  • Strong problem-solving skill

  • Candidate must be a resident of Abuja or its metropolitan area

  • Knowledge on occupational health and safety will be an added advantage
