A reputable Pharmaceutical company based in Lagos with many years of operation, requires the services of an experienced Accountant/Account Officer

JOB DESCRIPTIONS

• Preparation of Monthly/Quarterly/Annual Financial Statement of Accounts


• Preparation of relevant financial report i.e sales lodgment & interbank reconciliation report


• Preparation of Account and income statement, Trade debtors & creditors report, Bank and cash balances, sales and closing stock summary reports from different locations/regions both in naira value and in quantity of each products sold etc


• Preparation of bank reconciliation, sales commission (Sales reps and distributors)


• Preparation of payroll and ensure all relevant deduction and remittances are made within stipulated time


• Tax and inventory reporting.

REQUIREMENTS

• Working experience as an Accountant/Account Officer


• First Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or any related fields


• Proven work experience as a Senior Accountant, Account Officer, or similar role


• Thorough knowledge of Nigeria Financial laws and regulations


• Minimum of 2 years cognate experience in Accounts department or similar department; such experience in a manufacturing companies will be an added advantage


• Experience using Accounting software (Tally, Peachtree, Herbst, Sage etc)


• Computer literacy (MS Office applications, in particular)


• Excellent organizational skills, with an ability to prioritize important projects


• Strong phone, email and in-person communication skills


• Applicants must resides in Lagos; residence around Amuwo Odofin, Mile2, Festac, Coker, Apapa, Satelite town etc will be an added advantage
