Responsibilities

• Create and follow recipes to bake cakes, cupcakes, and other desserts


• Decorate cakes according to customer specifications


• Ensure that all baked goods are baked to the correct temperature and are of the highest quality


• Maintain a clean and organized work area


• Follow all food safety and sanitation procedures


• Work well independently and as part of a team


• Meet deadlines and be able to work under pressure.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess an SSCE / OND / HND qualification with 2+ years relevant work experience as a cake baker


• Strong understanding of baking principles and techniques


• Excellent decorating skills


• Attention to detail and a commitment to quality


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Food safety and sanitation certification.
