Responsibilities
- Provide the first impression to arriving guests.
- Greet guests, direct them for check-in, escort them, and carry their luggage to rooms.
- Explain the room’s amenities and facilities to guests.
- Stay vigilant and ensure that guests’ belongings are safe and secure.
- Explain to them the other services we offer in the hub
- Inform them about complimentary breakfast and other packages that comes with the room
- Inspect the room using the checklist to ensure all amenities are properly placed in the room before check-in and during checks-out to ensure all amenities and assets are intact.
- Have a good knowledge of the tourist areas around the property, in order to provide direction and information to guests.
- Check to ensure that labels are tagged to the correct luggage in the storage room.
- Help to run errands or provide support to other departments when needed.
- Well groomed, confident, and pleasant when in contact with guests.
- Assist disabled or special needs guests at the lobby.
- Make a report on visitors and workers that assess the rooms.
- Maintain a positive, empathetic and professional attitude towards staff and customers at all times.
- Carrying out all other tasks in the ordinary course of business which the management reasonably consider necessary or proper in the interest of the Company in your capacity as a Unit Receptionist.
Requirements for Unit Receptionist
- Proven work experience as a Receptionist, Front Office Representative or similar role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Hands-on experience with office equipment (e.g. printer, desktop)
- Professional attitude and appearance
- Solid written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise
- Excellent organizational skills
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks
- Customer service attitude
- Bachelors degree; additional certification in Office Management is a plus
