Responsibilities:

Join our team as a Cloud Security Engineer with a focus on Cloud Integration and Test Design. Your role will be pivotal in shaping our innovative security compliance app tailored for Nigeria. You'll:

• Architect Cloud Integration: Collaborate with developers and architects to seamlessly integrate our app into diverse cloud environments, including private clouds like OpenStack, VMware, and Hyper-V. Ensure local technology alignment.


• Create Comprehensive Tests: Craft meticulous test cases evaluating security controls, compliance adherence, and regulatory alignment. Cover data protection, access controls, authentication mechanisms, and more.


• Design Security Compliance Tests: Develop advanced tests to identify vulnerabilities, compliance gaps, and security risks across various cloud environments, including private clouds.


• Perform Thorough Testing: Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing to validate app capabilities, identifying vulnerabilities and compliance inconsistencies.


• Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Translate business needs into technical specs, collaborating with cross-functional teams for seamless integration.


• Innovate Testing Approaches: Explore new methodologies and tools to enhance app testing capabilities, increasing security coverage.


• Stay Current: Stay updated on cloud security trends, private cloud setups, and Nigerian regulations, guiding app development.

Skills & Expertise:

• Proficiency in Python and PowerShell for automating security tests.


• Experience with cloud security, DevOps practices, and private cloud environments.


• Familiarity with Nigerian compliance frameworks.


• Knowledge of AWS, GCP, Azure cloud environments.


• Expertise in tools like OWASP Zap, Burp Suite, Nessus.


• Strong analysis and communication skills.


• Relevant certifications like CISSP, CISM, CCSK are a plus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related (or equivalent experience).


• 7+ years as a Security Engineer, Cloud Security Specialist, or similar.


• Deep knowledge of Nigeria's tech landscape and cloud environments.


• Experience in security tests, compliance with standards like PCI DSS, ISO 27001.


• Proficiency in Python, PowerShell scripting.


• Familiarity with cloud security, DevOps practices.


• Excellent communication skills.


• Relevant certifications are a plus.
