Job Objective



  • Responsible for the planning, organizing, directing, supervising, managing and evaluating the Wakanow’s Human Resources programs, functions and activities.


Responsibilities


Strategic HR Management



  • Develop and implement HR management strategies to support the attainment of corporate goals, including the management of budgets and resources

  • Ensure values and culture are clearly defined, communicated and embedded within Wakanow; and drive the implementation of such through the execution of a performance based reward and consequence management system.

  • Develop and implement strategies for identifying and managing talent, organizational design and workforce planning; and provide input and support for staffing decisions.

  • Develop employee wellness initiatives and strategies.

  • Develop employee career development and succession plan.

  • Provide professional advice and guidance on people management practices, towards optimizing workforce performance.

  • Track and monitor HR metrics in line with HR strategy; deploy appropriate interventions where necessary.

  • Review group wide HR Policies and Procedures (involving recruitment, training, performance management and career development


HR & Admin Management



  • Develop group administrative direction, implement budgets and business targets in the organization

  • Prepare and manage HR budget

  • Lead and ensure effective and efficient delivery of HR services to employees and management

  • Manage shared services infrastructure to foster group integration, standardization and institutionalization

  • Implement best fit practices driven by technology

  • Review group wide HR Policies and Procedures (involving recruitment, training, performance management and career development

  • Implement comprehensive company policies and procedures supported by active monitoring and compliance management systems

  • Ensure accountability of management in carrying out roles and responsibilities in the performance management system.

  • Provide feedback to management on employee engagement, and provide clear links to organizational performance.

  • Oversee the maintenance of all staff records to ensure the accuracy and confidentiality.

  • Oversee general office administration; develop and implement supporting systems and processes to enhance business operations.


Requirements



  • At least ten (10) years of human resource management experience is required.

  • SPHRI/ GPHR or SHRM-SCP highly preferred.

  • Managerial and Leadership skills

  • Policy Development and Change Management Skills

  • Strategic Planning and Management
