Job Description

• Prepares and cooks food according to recipes and customer orders.


• Follows food safety guidelines and procedures to ensure the safety of food.


• Maintains kitchen equipment and supplies in clean and working order.


• Coordinates with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth workflow.


• Takes inventory of food and supplies and orders as needed.


• Performs other kitchen duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

In addition to these responsibilities, you may also be required to:

• Train new kitchen staff.


• Order food and supplies.


• Manage inventory.


• Work with other kitchen staff to create menus and recipes.


• Decorate food for special occasions.


• Answer customer questions about the menu.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification with at least 2 years work experience.
