Salary: N150,000


We are looking to hire an HR Generalist for our client in the real estate industry.


Responsibilities



  • Optimize productivity by driving up engagement levels.

  • Advise Management on the best practices in people management, talent development, and talent acquisition.

  • Improve and implement the performance management framework.

  • Use data analysis to influence strategic decisions to address organizational challenges.

  • Manage Talent Management, Learning & development, and Succession Planning

  • Promote and coordinate initiatives that support organizational change.

  • Influence and promote the company’s structure and culture.

  • Maintain all HR processes, records, and act as an Impartial employee advocate, ensuring staff receive fair and equitable treatment.

  • Provide direction on recruitment, employee retention and effective management of the employee life cycle.

  • Champion change management within the Organization and ensure strong communication of policies to drive a healthy Organizational culture.

  • Improve the performance of others by empowering a strong leadership and coaching culture.

  • Manage and implement company-wide compensation and benefits programs.

  • Monitor salary structures ensuring alignment of policies, procedures, and programs with the organization's overall strategic objectives and HR vision.

  • Oversee payroll management and remittance of PAYE, pension, and other statutory payments.

  • Coordinate staff benefit plans including HMO management.

  • Track corporate, departmental, and employee competency levels against requirements; working with unit heads to determine gaps and ensure that effective training and development programs are in place.

  • Translate the company’s strategy through goal setting and communicate the right KPIs across-board.

  • Coordinate the Performance Management process. Work with managers to ensure biannual performance reviews are conducted.

  • Promote feedback mechanisms for employees to influence the continuous improvement of HR services and processes.

  • Continuously engage talent in developing their career and ensuring that they are prepared to fill critical roles at the appropriate time.

  • Design the Manpower plan and Implement Resourcing Strategies to identify, attract and retain required talent.

  • Take responsibility for updating the Staff Handbook, communicating policies to employees, and enforcing policies.

  • Coordinate the end-to-end recruitment process from interviewing to onboarding.

  • In coordination with Management, draft employment contracts

  • Maintain personnel files and database.

  • Prepare all internal communication for staff.

  • Respond to all HR queries from staff and senior management.

  • Regularly update job descriptions

  • Provide support to managers with disciplinary and performance issues.

  • Regularly provide reports to management.


Qualifications



  • Degree in Human Resource Management or its equivalent

  • Relevant experience in People and Performance mgt

  • Strong people management and culture experience

  • Relevant Certifications (ACIPM, PHRI, CP-SHRM)

  • Excellent Leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Strong ethical principles and ability to manage confidential and sensitive information.

  • Professional approach to managing situations and solving problems.

  • Ability to ensure best practices and procedures are followed

  • People analytics

  • Understanding of HR Best practices

  • Compensation and Benefits proficiency

  • Excellent Communication skills

  • HR Project Management
