Designing, analysing, and altering plans, prototypes or structures/developing concept plans, designs and design solutions to the satisfaction of clients.
Ensuring building plans, prototypes, and structures are running safely, efficiently, and reliably.
Prepare design proposals, budgets, bills of quantities and timelines in line with the project goals and requirements.
Ensure Quality Control on all specifications.
Supervision/management of projects, ensuring that the project is running on as scheduled from commissioning to completion.
Finding and solving problems in building plans, prototypes, and structures/Testing and evaluating building systems to find problems and improvements.
Reading, interpreting, and explaining complex technical documents/Produce detailed workings, drawings and specifications.
Use IT in architectural drawing and design, specifically using software packages such as AutoCAD, 3D, Vray, etc.
Resolve problems and issues that arise during construction/installation activities.
Institute a proper architectural method (from initiating drawing, through to plan, execution, monitoring, control and closure) of projects and drive its successful implementation.
Lead liaison and engagements with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors on architectural requirements and design concepts.
Initiate and control site-related processes and procedures ensuring that works are conducted to specific standards.
Prepare daily and weekly project status reports as needed.
Execute prompt implementation schedules and efficient follow through on deliverables and address issues as proper.
Conduct all other design and project implementation tasks as specified by the company.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess a Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Architectural Engineering / Interior Architecture (Additional relevant certification is required)
A Professional Engineering license.
3 - 5 years relevant work experience as an architect/interior architect preferred.
Excellent project management experience is also required.
Current Knowledge of industry trends, technology, codes, and regulations.
The ability to diagram designs both manually and with computer-aided drafting.
Good teamwork and communication skills.
Good time management skills.
Excellent working knowledge of science, mathematics, and engineering principles.
Strong analytical, critical, and problem-solving skills.
