Keeping records of items shipped, received, or transferred to another location
To find, sort, or move goods between different parts of the business
To compile reports on various aspects of changes in production or inventory.
To ensure that the store is kept clean and organised, maintain receipts, records, and withdrawals of the stockroom, unload and store supplies, perform other stock-related duties, including returning, packing, pricing, and labelling supplies, inspect deliveries for damage or discrepancies, and more.
To ensure proper authorization for all goods entering and leaving the warehouse
To check and input supplies into the warehouse inventory system
That bin locations are maintained in a well-ordered manner, that packaging is appropriate, and that documentation is organised.
Ensure that materials being shipped out of state are correctly packed and protected.
Liaise with the warehouse supervisor regarding any receiving issue.
Ensure to adhere strictly to the company's occupational health and safety policies and guidelines.
Coordinate with the OHS coordinator and investigate all reported incidents (near-misses and accidents).
Requirements
BSc. or HND in any discipline
A minimum of one (1) year of hands-on experience
Good in technical matters
Must have worked in a warehouse
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Proficiency in Microsoft applications, including Word and Excel
