Responsibilities
Team Leadership:
- Recruit, train, and supervise store staff to ensure exceptional customer service.
- Set performance expectations, provide feedback, and foster a positive work environment.
- Motivate and lead the team to achieve sales targets and operational goals.
Customer Experience:
- Maintain a customer-centric approach by addressing customer inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure the store environment is clean, organized, and conducive to a pleasant shopping experience.
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Sales and Revenue Management:
- Develop sales strategies to achieve revenue goals and maximize profitability.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze trends, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Set and communicate sales targets to the team, motivating them to meet and exceed goals.
Inventory Management:
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and stock replenishment.
- Conduct regular inventory audits to minimize discrepancies and ensure accurate records.
- Optimize inventory turnover and minimize overstock or understock situations.
Visual Merchandising:
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are upheld to attract customers and enhance product presentation.
- Plan and execute displays, promotions, and seasonal arrangements.
Operational Efficiency:
- Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
- Monitor operational expenses and manage budgets to optimize cost efficiency.
- Maintain store security, safety, and compliance with company policies.
Performance Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze sales reports, financial data, and performance metrics to assess store performance.
- Generate and present regular reports to higher management regarding sales, inventory, and operational achievements.
Community Engagement:
- Foster positive relationships with local communities and customers.
- Plan and execute community events to promote the store and its offerings.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Retail Management, or related field (preferred).
- 3 - 5 years work experience.
- Proven experience as a Store Manager or similar leadership role in retail.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in inventory management, sales strategies, and customer service.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Proficient in using retail management software and POS systems.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
