Job Description:

As an Account Officer/Audit Trainee, you will play a pivotal role in handling the firm's financial records, including bookkeeping and preparation of financial statements. You will also assist in audit assignments, ensuring compliance with established internal control procedures. You will engage with clients, maintain records, and assist in the preparation of audit reports. This role may require occasional travel to client sites for audit assignments.

Specific Qualifications/Requirements:

• B.Sc./HND in Accounting or Finance


• In the process of obtaining a professional certification such as ACA, ACCA, is preferred


• A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within a reputable audit firm or a fashion outfit


• Understanding of basic auditing standards and practices


• Proficiency in Excel and other accounting software


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Qualities:

• Detail-oriented


• Capable of working efficiently and accurately


• Strong communication skills (oral & written)


• Able to work collaboratively in a team environment


• Ability to adapt and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
