- A business Analyst is a professional who works closely with stakeholders to identify goals, develop best practices for data collection, and analyze current processes to determine areas of improvement to achieve their desired outcomes.
- We are looking for a Business Analyst who will be the vital link between our Finance and account unit, and our business objectives by supporting, advising, building, deployment and ensuring the successful data-backed decisions and tasks that help to position the company in advantageously among competitors.
Key Deliverables:
- Preparation of Performance Management Reports including all Relevant Metrics
- Preparation of POP and BTS Performance and Analysis Reports
- Preparation of Company–wide Budget for All Business Units
- GL Review and Transactions Call–Over
- Monthly Revenue Forecast and Share Updates to the Business.
- Collects, Compiles, Verifies and Analyses Financial Information Specific to the Business Being Supported.
- Perform Desk/Market Research, Data Mining, Business Intelligence and Cost Analysis Specific to the Business.
- Creating and Updating the Database for All Business Units Analysis.
- Deployment and execution of strategic cost containment initiatives company-wide.
- Full Involvement in Month-end Accounts Closure Activities and Processes.
Knowledge, Skills and Behavior required to succeed in Role:
- Minimum of BSC Degree in Accounting or Banking and Finance or Economics
- Professional Certification (ACCA or ICAN) is an added advantage
- Expertise in ERP such as Sage, Pastel, Evolution, and Microsoft Excel Working Knowledge
- Knowledge of IFRS and Tax Laws as well as Business Operating Environment Intelligent Gathering
Relevant Experience:
- 3 – 4 years of experience in Accounting or Finance with at least 3 years in Financial reporting
- Minimum of 3 years progressive experience within any of the following industries with a large organization: Telecoms, Consulting, Fin Tech, FMCG or Technology Consulting

- Strong analytical and data gathering skills with ethical conduct, independence and overall positive can-do attitude.
- Excellent oral and communication skills.
- Well-developed IT skills including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint Presentation Skills.
- Strong Computer knowledge and skills, including in-depth expert knowledge of spreadsheet, database, and word processing.
- Strong drive for Knowledge and must be out of the box thinker.
- High degree of professionalism, maturity and confidentiality.
- Very good presentation skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task while under pressure.
- Customer service-oriented as well as problem-solving orientation.
