Job Summary
The Talent Specialist provides talent management and generalist support, facilitating the delivery of business and functional goals through the high-impact talent practices and HR-service delivery. The jobholder serves as the first point of contact on HR-related matters for a division or cluster and will coordinate the delivery of defined talent management imperatives, projects, and related tasks assigned.
Key Accountabilities
- HR Analytics: Conduct internal and external research and analytics to generate strategic insights to support related planning, decision making, and the design of best fit strategies, policies etc; monitor and track key HR metrics for proactive management; develops reports and presentations
- Talent Management:Provide talent management support for the delivery of business or functional goals through people including performance management, rewards and recognition, learning and development, succession planning, career management etc.; assist with fostering enabling culture and behavior's; serve as a change agent amidst transformation
- Employee Engagement:Support the design and implementation of optimal employee engagement strategies and initiatives; assist with the delivery of a great employee experience across the employee lifecycle with consideration for best (fit) practices and the Group’s EVP; manage employee relations and facilitate good work relationships
- Talent Acquisition:Anticipate and meet staffing needs through talent planning, job profiling, recruitment and on-boarding; build and maintain talent pipeline.
- HR Service Delivery:Facilitate the delivery of seamless, high-quality HR services to employees and strengthen HR’s value proposition to the business; assist with the development of winning policies and procedures
- Project Support:Lead or support the implementation of related projects and initiatives; collaborate within the team and cross functionally for the development of relevant projects.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in the social Sciences or its equivalent
- Relevant professional certification from a recognized body e.g., CIPM, SHRM, CIPD, HRCI
- Minimum of five (5) years’ talent management or generalist experience
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Conversant with the use of HR technologies and systems
- ISO Internal Auditor/ Conformance to QMS ISO9001:2015 requirements and many more.
