Overall Job Purpose
- To support the Chairman in driving the Group Vision and business Diversification/ Expansion strategies.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To help the chairman to be better organized and effective in his role by efficiently managing his calendar/itinerary, communication and travel arrangements
- To assist the Chairman in his business oversight functions especially with regards to tracking and driving execution of strategies across the various companies within the group
- Assist the chairman in driving business expansion especially with regards to planning and execution of new projects
- In the absence of the Chairman, to be able to make sound decisions on urgent and critical issues getting approvals from him where necessary
- Any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Requirements
The ideal candidate for this role should meet the following specification:
- A good First Degree preferably in Economics, Business Analytics, Accounting, Project management or Life Sciences from a top tier university with a First Class or minimum Second Class Upper certificate
- A minimum of 4 years work experience preferably in a diversified company
- Matured (require minimum supervision), Intelligent with entrepreneurial instincts
- Strong IT/computer skills; ERP, Microsoft office package especially spreadsheet, word and PowerPoint
- Must be good with numbers and have attention to details
- Must be smart/hardworking, dependable, trustworthy (integrity) and thrive in a pressure environment
