We are looking for a skilled web developer/SEO specialist who will be responsible for developing and/or designing websites for our company and manage all search engine optimization and marketing activities. The ideal candidate should have an eye for clean and artful web design. They should also have superior user interface design skills, and also responsible for managing all SEO activities including but not limited to: content strategy٫ link building and keyword strategy. This skilled management is what we need in order to increase rankings on all major search networks. Your charge will also be management of all SEM campaigns on Google٫ Yahoo and Bing in order to maximize ROI. Technical and social proficiency is a must to perfectly deliver the best product for the company and our clients.

Job Responsibilities

Your responsibilities include:

• Coding, code maintenance, and testing.


• Break up files from sites in local directories for recovery.


• Keeping up to date on the latest programming techniques and web technologies.


• Transparently communicating with managers, team leads, and team members on issues and brainstorming ideas for solutions.


• Perform routine site maintenance.


• Monitor test feedback and corrective actions.


• Analyze technical requirements to adhere to the needs of users.


• Use tools such as content management, authoring, and scripting.


• Proficiency in front-end programming languages such as JavaScript, CSS, and HTML5. Also, familiarity with back-end languages such as JQuery, as well as third-party APIs. 


• Execute tests٫ collect and analyze data and results٫ identify trends and insights in order to achieve maximum ROI in paid search campaigns.


• Track٫ report٫ and analyze website analytics and PPC initiatives and campaigns.


• A working understanding of website interfaces, cross-browser interoperability, and web standards is required.


• Collaboration skills to work with inter-departmental disciplines and a variety of stakeholders.


• Experience in using version control systems such as Git or BitBucket.


• Optimize copy and landing pages for search engine marketing.


• Continually perform keyword discoveryŸ´ expansionŸ´ and optimization.


• Research and implement search engine optimization recommendations.


• Research and analyze competitor advertising links.


• Conceptualize and execute link building strategy.

Educational Qualifications

• The candidate should have minimum of a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Programming, or Web Development or a related field with at least three (3) years relevant experience as a Web Developer/SEO Specialist.

Competencies Expected 

Proficiency in the following:

• HTML5 and CSS3


• Javascript (ES6, jQuery, AJAX)


• CSS framework


• Web fundamentals


• CLI


• SEO


• Extensive understanding of the DOM and box model.


• Certification in SEO or Google Analytics will be beneficial.


• Proven SEM experience managing PPC campaigns across Google٫ Yahoo and Bing.


• Sound comprehension of performance marketing٫ conversion٫ and online customer acquisition.


• In-depth experience with website analytics tools (e.g٫ Google Analytics٫ NetInsight٫ Omniture٫ WebTrends).


• Experience using٫ reading٫ and understanding bid management tools such as Click Equations٫ Marin٫ Kenshoo٫ and Search Ignite.


• Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.


• Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.


• Proven problem-solving skills. Good interpersonal skills.

Salary Range: #100,000 - #150,000
