Role Description
- Conduct regular inspections of the healthcare facility to identify maintenance needs, safety hazards, and compliance issues.
- Develop and implement a preventive maintenance program to ensure that all equipment and systems are properly maintained. This involves scheduling routine maintenance tasks, such as equipment calibration, filter replacements, and lubrication, to prevent breakdowns and extend the lifespan of equipment
- Be prepared to respond to emergencies, such as power outages, floods, and equipment failures. Develop emergency response plans and coordinate with relevant stakeholders to mitigate risks and maintain continuity of healthcare services
- Ensure that the facility complies with health and safety regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
Candidates for the post must possess the required qualifications, experience and skills specified below:
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Building Technology, or Estate Management
- 3 years post NYSC cognate experience
- Not more than 35 years of age
Key Requirements / Attributes:
- Relevant educational background and qualifications in healthcare or related fields
- Knowledge of Civil/Public Service Rules
- Basic skills and use of ICT tools
- Valid and up-to-date licensure or registration with the appropriate regulatory body or council
- Strong verbal & written communication abilities and interpersonal skills Knowledge of primary healthcare delivery and commitment to promoting preventive and community-based healthcare.
