We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Sales / Marketing Officer to join our team and contribute to the growth of our business.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for executing sales and marketing strategies, building strong relationships with clients, and promoting our products/services.
This role requires excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, marketing and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic team.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in the development and implementation of sales and marketing plans to achieve business goals and targets.
Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape, and provide insights to inform strategy.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to create and execute effective marketing campaigns, both online and offline.
Generate leads through various channels, including cold calling, emails, networking events, and social media.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients and identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries, providing product information, and guiding them through the sales process.
Monitor and report on sales and marketing activities, performance metrics, and progress toward targets.
Assist in creating and updating marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and promotional content.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between sales, marketing, and other departments.
Requirements
OND and HND
Proven experience of at least 2 years in sales and/or marketing roles.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey ideas and information to clients and team members.
Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.
Knowledge of marketing principles, strategies, and tactics, including digital marketing and social media.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish lasting client relationships.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
The proactive and results-driven mindset with the ability to identify and capitalize on sales opportunities.
Willingness to learn about our products/services and stay informed about industry trends.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and basic graphic design skills are a plus.
