Farm Attendant Job Summary.



We are looking for an experienced poultry farm professional to join us as a Farm Attendant. In this position, we expect you to take on a variety of responsibilities around the farm.  You should have experience with various  poultry farming techniques, especially with layers and broilers!! You will be engaged in wide range of poultry operations and carry out daily production unit routines including handling, feeding and treating disease and disposing of effluent.



Responsibilities, Roles and Functions:



  • Making sure that work progresses satisfactorily

  • Following the plans for feeding and medications and ensuring they are available for the hens according to schedule.

  • Careful picking, arranging and storing of eggs.

  • Observing animals for signs of illness and giving medication when necessary.

  • Performing facility maintenance.

  • Checking for proper ventilation and temperature conditions.

  • Caring for and maintaining the hens and assisting with moving and transporting eggs.

  • Constant  inspection of the hens, and also performing and  insuring clean water are provided for them.

  • Ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.

  • keeping an up-to-date knowledge of diseases as well as medication routines for the hens.

  • Ensuring that the farm is profitable.


Requirements: 



  • Atleast 1 years experience working  in poultry farming,  or equivalent.

Flexibility



  • Regular Inspection of facility for safety regulations


Teamwork



  • Willingness to work overtime as required.

  • Extensive experience in a farming poultry field.

  • Hard working.
