Responsible for the computer servers of an organization
Ensures on a daily basis that they are running efficiently by performing upgrading and maintenance tasks on hardware and software, resolving technical problems, overseeing their activity levels, ensuring server security, and developing new system structures when necessary.
Keep track of data entering or exiting the organization to secure the networks.
Install, configure, and maintain various types of hardware and software
Configure, manage, and implement operating systems.
In charge of backups and retrieval of resources.
Work with the IT team to design and deploy secure server processes
Accountable for various technical tasks on the company's computer network systems
Connect workstations to the company's network and monitor the network for any potential issues.
Maintain the networking systems, track server activity, and perform software upgrades.

Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Computer Sciences and specialization in at least one operating system (Windows or Mac or Linux).
3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience
Should be comfortable working with databases and WANs/LANs.
Strong knowledge of systems and networking software, hardware, and networking protocols
Adequate knowledge of many types of server-based business applications.
Be able to script in languages such as Perl, Python or Bash.
Strong knowledge of implementing and effectively developing helpdesk and IT operations best practices, including expert knowledge of security, storage, data protection, and disaster recovery protocols.
