- Prospection of professional clients, propose technical solutions according to customers' needs and negotiate commercial customers' needs.
- Ensure commercial developments and proper follow-up of the assigned client's portfolios
- Conduct market surveys (market insights and analyses) monitor sales and submit regular visit reports
- Managed and build a strong relationship with clients
- Track and analyse sales statistics and data
- Plan and organise his daily customers' calls/visits
- Promote the products and services of the company
- Conceive studies on technical propositions based on clients' demands and define the objectives
- Proper application of company policy on rates, discounts and other sales conditions
- Recommend and realise product and services trials/demonstrations with clients
- Provide technical assistance to clients
- Prepare and actively participate in commercial meetings
- Ensure prompt settlement of clients' invoices/debts
- Monitor competition activities (products, services, prices, promotions etc)
- Participate in trade fairs and exhibitions
- Give prompt attention to the company's essentials and cross-functions activities (annual stock takings, troubleshooting with clients etc)
- Active involvement in the quality standards procedure of the company
Responsible for
- Sales and revenue growth according to the fixed objectives with the Direction
- Ensure quality commercial relationships
- Respect and efficient use of company's materials in his possessions
- Compliance with the government agencies laws and regulations
- Prompt settlement of cases with assigned clients
- Maintain honest and ethical standards with the clients
Requirements / Experience
- HND / B.Sc / MBA in a related field
- Minimum of 5 years Sales experience in an Industrial hygiene or detergent chemical company.
Required Competences:
- Technical skill ability is mandatory (knowledge of chemical category in Nig will be an advantage)
- Commercial skills (clients prospection, sales and negotiation skills)
- Knowledge of Marketing & Digital space
- Understanding of project management.
