An Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) services provider, operating within the Nigerian Oil & Gas Sector, is looking to engage a Mechanic, who will monitor and maintain in proper condition the machineries at the site. Adhere to Quality and HSSE aspects as per RPL pertinent level instruction and indications.
Responsibilities
Provide trouble-free and reliable operation of all types of equipment and their correct use, timely, quality repairs and maintenance;
Examine conditions of equipment and identify the causes of premature wear or breakdown;
Provide list of spares parts and consumables/tools required to be available offshore to grant immediate repair in case of breakdown;
Comply with tasks and instructions received from the supervisor and report to him accordingly;
To comply with safety and quality requirements;
To report any unsafe condition or unsafe behavior;
To attend to daily tool-box meetings or any other meeting, as required;
To maintain in good condition the tools received and to return them back to the store in the same condition, as received;
Perform other duties assigned.
Requirements
Minimum of SSCE and Trade Test;
Proven experience from onshore and offshore installations in major oil & gas field developments;
Good knowledge of relevant rules, regulations, and standards
