Overall Responsibility
As a System Administrator, His/her primary responsibility is to oversee the upkeep of all servers, manage routine system administration tasks, and ensure the effective configuration management of various environments. He/She will leverage your experience in installing and operating systems, as well as your proficiency in web server administration, to maintain the stability and performance of our organization’s network and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the maintenance and operational health of all servers, ensuring they are up-to-date, secure, and perform optimally.
- Monitor system performance, perform load balancing, manage processes, and implement necessary optimizations to maintain system efficiency.
- Manage configurations across production, test, training, development, and other environments, ensuring consistency and reliability.
- Install and operate systems, including servers, backup devices, peripheral devices, and specialized equipment.
- Administer and manage web servers to ensure the seamless functioning of web applications and services.
- Respond to system issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and implement solutions to minimize downtime and maintain system availability.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation related to system configurations, installations, and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide technical support, share insights, and address infrastructure-related challenges.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- In-depth proficiency in Finacle
- Minimum of 7 years of professional experience in System Administration, with a focus on network and infrastructure management.
- Proficiency in server maintenance, performance monitoring, load balancing, and process management.
- Strong understanding of configuration management principles and practices.
- Experience in the installation and operation of systems, including various hardware devices.
- Familiarity with web server administration and protocols.
- Practical experience in troubleshooting technical issues and incident response.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical teams.
