Job Description
Main Duties:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger entries, and journal entries.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports, ensuring proper coding and documentation.
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve any discrepancies with vendors or clients.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Monitor and manage cash flow, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Assist in the preparation of annual financial audits and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.
- Assist in the development and implementation of financial policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial data and support decision-making.
- Stay updated on industry regulations, accounting standards, and best practices to ensure compliance.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to support business growth and profitability.
- Assist in payroll processing and related tax filings.
- Any other Tasks assigned by the Management.
Personal Qualities & Qualifications:
Job Holder must possess the following:
- Data entry skills.
- Good knowledge of financial software.
- Attention to detail & thoroughness.
- Analytical mind & ability to drive revenue collection at record time.
- Demonstrates sense of urgency & tenacious at work.
- Must be a undergoing his/her ICAN.
- Degree holder in Accounting from reputable higher institution.
- Candidates must be Resident of Lagos Island, Ajah - Lekki axis.
Required Experience:
- Must have 3 years cognate experience in a similar position from reputable big organization.
