Job Summary



  • Our client is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Account Officer to join our finance team.

  • As an Account Officer, you will be responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities



  • Process and record financial transactions accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Reconcile bank statements and ensure accuracy of accounts.

  • Monitor accounts receivable and accounts payable.

  • Prepare and submit financial reports as required.

  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure accurate and up-to-date financial information.

  • Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting.

  • Provide excellent customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving discrepancies.

  • Assist in the preparation of financial audits.

  • Maintain a thorough understanding of relevant accounting regulations and best practices.

  • Participate in the improvement and implementation of accounting procedures.

  • Contribute to team efforts and support colleagues as needed.

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting standards.


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

  • Proven experience in an accounting role.

  • ICAN or ACCA will be an added advantage.

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
