Role Overview

The Duct Technician at Promatek will play a crucial role in the fabrication and installation of pre-insulated ducts. These duct systems are essential components of our industrial HVAC projects, ensuring optimal HVAC system efficiency and performance. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in ductwork fabrication, installation, and possess a strong understanding of pre-insulated duct technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Pre-project site inspection to align the site conditions with the bluprint.


• Fabricate pre-insulated ducts according to project specifications and engineering drawings.


• Install pre-insulated ducts efficiently and accurately at project sites.


• Collaborate with the project team to ensure seamless integration of ductwork within larger construction projects.


• Adhere to safety guidelines and industry standards during fabrication, installation, and maintenance.


• Perform quality control checks on fabricated and installed ducts to ensure compliance with specifications.


• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during fabrication or installation.


• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.


• Keep accurate records of materials used, and work performed.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience in ductwork fabrication and installation, with a focus on pre-insulated duct systems.


• Familiarity with engineering drawings, blueprints, and project specifications.
