Role Overview: As the Area Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, managing a team of sales representatives, and developing strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the assigned area, aligning with the company's goals and objectives.
- Manage and lead a team of sales representatives, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations to ensure optimal performance.
- Set clear sales targets and objectives for the team, monitoring progress and taking corrective actions as necessary.
- Build and nurture relationships with key clients, distributors, and retailers to drive sales and enhance brand loyalty.
- Analyze market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and challenges within the region.
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement effective promotional campaigns and initiatives.
- Monitor sales data, track market share, and prepare regular reports to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
- Manage budgets, expenses, and resources efficiently to maximize profitability while maintaining a high standard of customer service.
- Identify and address potential operational bottlenecks or customer issues in a timely manner.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices to remain competitive in the market.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. MBA is a plus.
- years of experience in sales management within the alcoholic beverage industry, demonstrating a proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse sales team.
