Job Description



  • Plan and execute well intervention activities to address production decline and enhance well performance.

  • Select appropriate intervention tools and equipment, such as wireline tools, coiled tubing units, and workover rigs.

  • Perform wellbore cleaning, equipment repair, perforation, and other intervention tasks as required.

  • Assess and mitigate potential risks associated with intervention operations, adhering to safety protocols.

  • Analyze pre- and post-intervention data to evaluate the effectiveness of interventions and recommend further actions.

  • Document all intervention activities, equipment used, and outcomes for accurate record-keeping.

  • Collaborate closely with production engineers, reservoir engineers, and field personnel to ensure interventions align with production targets.

  • Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in well-intervention techniques.

  • Develop and execute well-completion strategies that align with reservoir characteristics and production goals.

  • Select and design appropriate completion equipment, including tubing, packers, screens, and valves, to optimize production and reservoir recovery.

  • Supervise the installation of completion equipment and downhole tools, coordinating with drilling and production teams.

  • Ensure all completion operations adhere to safety regulations and industry standards to prevent accidents and environmental incidents.

  • Monitor and maintain wellbore integrity, addressing any fluid leaks or wellbore instability issues.

  • Troubleshoot and resolve challenges during the completion process, collaborating with cross-functional teams.

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation of completion operations and equipment usage.

  • Collaborate with reservoir engineers, geologists, and production engineers to achieve successful well completion.


Qualifications



  • University Degree in Engineering

  • 15 years and above in the relevant field

  • Must have a valid International Well Control Forum (IWCF) certificate

  • Valid BOSIET/HUET certificate

  • Valid Offshore medical certificate confirming fitness to work offshore.

  • Must be able to present a competence profile showing relevant experience in deepwater offshore rig

  • Round 1&2 Shell certificates or their equivalent

  • Proficiency in computer usage.
