Job Description

• We’re looking for an Art Tutor who would be able to drive and encourage creativity and self-expression among students.


• The art tutor should be able to boost creative thinking, impart artistic skills to students and make them aware of the social, cultural, political and economic factors that influenced art in different historical periods.

Key Focus Areas

• Teach knowledge and skills in art, including drawing, painting, lettering, and art history


• Instruct students in proper care and use of tools and equipment


• Plan and present art displays and exhibitions designed to exhibit students’ work for the school and the community environment during group rehearsals, practices, and performances


• Evaluate each student’s performance and growth in knowledge and aesthetic understandings, and prepare progress reports.

Person Specification

Educational Qualifications and Certificates:

• Minimum of Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts (desirable) or any related course.

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years experience teaching Arts.
