Job Summary:
As an Auto-Electrician, you will play a crucial role in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining the electrical systems of various vehicles. Your expertise will ensure that our clients' vehicles are functioning optimally and safely. The ideal candidate is knowledgeable, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering high-quality work.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and troubleshoot complex electrical issues in a variety of vehicles, including passenger cars, SUVs, and light trucks.
- Repair and replace faulty electrical components such as wiring, sensors, switches, and modules.
- Conduct thorough inspections of vehicle electrical systems to identify potential problems.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on electrical systems, including battery checks, alternator testing, and starter motor inspections.
- Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and rectify electronic and electrical malfunctions.
- Collaborate with other technicians and mechanics to provide comprehensive vehicle assessments and repairs.
- Keep up-to-date with advancements in automotive electrical technology and techniques.
- Provide exceptional customer service by explaining electrical issues to clients in a clear and understandable manner.
- Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and promptly.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Auto-Electrician with a minimum of 5 years of relevant work.
- Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing vehicle electrical systems.
- Strong understanding of automotive electrical diagrams and schematics.
- Familiarity with diagnostic tools and equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, and scan tools.
- Knowledge of modern vehicle electronics and computer systems.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Relevant certification or vocational training in automotive electrical systems is preferred.
