Operate and drive a Hiab truck equipped with an articulated crane to transport goods and materials to and from designated locations
Perform pre-trip inspections of the vehicle and crane to ensure they are in good working condition
Safely load and unload cargo using the crane and ensure it is properly secured for transport
Collaborate with other team members to plan the most efficient and safe routes for transportation
Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while operating the vehicle and crane
Keep accurate records of deliveries, including items delivered, time of delivery, and any issues that may have arisen during transportation
Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other members of the team to ensure timely and efficient delivery of goods
Maintain a clean and organized vehicle, perform routine maintenance checks, and report any issues or needed repairs to the appropriate parties.
Requirements
Valid Hiab license and certification
Proven experience as a Hiab driver
Ability to operate Hiab crane safely and efficiently
Physical fitness and ability to carry out manual handling tasks
Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Knowledge of health and safety regulations
Flexibility with working hours and willingness to work weekends and overtime if required
Clean driving record and ability to follow road regulations and traffic signs.
