Responsibilities

The Visa consultant is expected to:

• Oversee the completion of all relevant visa and immigration documents and ensure that they are received within the time limit set by the embassy.


• Assist with submission protocol and revenue generation.


• Assist applicants with appointments with embassy.


• Process the simplest to the most complex visa cases correctly and efficiently employing a polite manner to both applicants and Embassy employees with little or no need for guidance.


• Keep informed of existing and changes in law, regulations and SOPs related to visa cases.


• Either alone or as a team member, take complete action on all classes of visas upon receipt including screening, data entry, visa classification, scanning of documents, printing, quality assurance and tracking and issuance.


• Track applications, including emergencies or high-profile cases.


• Exercise discretion and high degree of professional responsibility in handling confidential/sensitive applicant information and documentation.


• Oversee all aspects of the Visa and Immigration Service and ensuring that the process runs smoothly.


• Profile all applications using all checklists, terms and conditions of embassy


• Oversee the completion of all relevant visa and immigration documents and ensuring that they are received within the time limit set by the embassy.


• Ensure that all of the information provided by the client is accurate and correct, preparing and checking all legal documents.


• Prepare all fee quotes and any information required by clients, colleagues or authorities.

Requirements

• Candidate must be well informed of laws, regulations and SOPs related to visa cases.


• Candidate should either alone or as a team member, be able to take complete action on all classes of visas upon receipt including screening, data entry, visa classification, scanning of documents, printing, quality assurance and tracking and issuance.


• Ability to use Amadeus will be an added advantage.

Qualifications

• Interested candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree in relevant field.


• Minimum of 2 years experience as a visa consultant.
