Job Summary:



  • We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Merchandiser to join our team in Festac.

  • The ideal candidate should have at least one year of experience in a retail setting and should be in close proximity to Festac.

  • As a Merchandiser, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the effective presentation and arrangement of our products, contributing to an engaging shopping experience for our customers.


Key Responsibilities:



  • Arrange and display products in an appealing and organized manner to attract customer attention and drive sales.

  • Regularly inspect product displays and shelves, ensuring they are well-stocked, clean, and properly labeled.

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the appropriate departments.

  • Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with product inquiries and locating items.

  • Maintain a strong knowledge of our products, pricing, and promotions to offer accurate information to customers.

  • Monitor competitors' products and pricing, making recommendations to stay competitive.

  • Coordinate with the Branch Head to optimize product placement and store layout.

  • Handle customer complaints and inquiries professionally, striving for effective resolutions.

  • Keep track of sales trends and customer feedback to suggest improvements in product offerings.

  • Clean up unwanted items from shelves and displays.

  • Rotate products on shelves to ensure that they are fresh and appealing.


Qualifications and Experience:



  • Candidates should possess a Bachelor's Degree / HND / OND / SSCE / GCE / NECO qualification.

  • At least 1 year of experience in a retail setting, preferably in merchandising.

  • Proximity to Festac or surrounding areas is essential.

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification required.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

  • Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and communication.

  • Creative thinking and the ability to adapt to changing market trends.

  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.

  • Physical ability to lift and move products as needed.
