Key Responsibilities
- Identify, research, and engage potential clients to establish new business relationships.
- Lead the sales team in reaching targets and expanding customer reach.
- Engage in solution-based discussions and negotiations with clients to close deals effectively.
- Collaborate with the support team to address customer concerns and ensure a smooth sales-to-service transition.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities and partnerships.
- Stay updated with market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies.
- Foster and maintain positive client relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and monitor performance metrics.
- Manage the sales budget for optimal returns.
- Regularly update and maintain sales records and client databases, providing weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
- Organize training for product knowledge and sales techniques.
- Provide regular feedback and coaching to the sales team.
- Work closely with the marketing and technical teams to align sales strategies and campaigns.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a relevant field (or equivalent work experience)
- 5 years of sales experience preferably in consumer product sales
- 2 years of experience in sales leadership roles
- Knowledge of the energy industry is an advantage.
- Demonstrated ability in managing the sales process end-to-end.
- Exceptional interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Ability to use CRM software and sales analytics tools.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive, self-starter with a hunger for achieving sales targets.
- Candidate must be resident in Abuja, Nigeria
