Job Functions

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analysing account information.


• Document financial transactions by entering account information.


• Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and other reports.


• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents.


• Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures.


• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information.


• Verify, allocate posts and reconcile transactions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience in accounting.


• 1-2 years Post-NYSC experience


• Must possess strong analytical skills.


• Financial / commercial management exposure in a financial institution.


• Problem-solving skills and the ability to assess and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.


• Proficiency in the use of Microsoft office applications, especially MS-Excel.


• Knowledge of codes and standards as well as safety and regulatory requirements.

Remuneration

• Average Gross Monthly Pay (N250,000)
