- The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of supply chain processes, data analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- They will be responsible for identifying and implementing strategies that enhance operational efficiency, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain performance.
Key Responsibilities
Process Optimization:
- Analyze end-to-end supply chain processes to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement. and communicate it to GM Operations and implement same
- Develop and implement streamlined processes that enhance productivity, minimize lead times, and reduce operational costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution of process improvement initiatives.
Data Analysis and Performance Metrics:
- Gather, analyze, and interpret supply chain data to identify trends and opportunities for optimization.
- Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain operations and monitor them regularly.
- Create comprehensive reports and dashboards to communicate performance metrics to senior management.
- Coordinate cost budgeting for operation and monitor execution and variance.
Supplier Relationship Management:
- Evaluate supplier performance based on quality, reliability, and adherence to contractual agreements working with Admin, Procurement, Production and Logistics teams.
Inventory Management:
- Suggest and Implement demand forecasting techniques to enhance inventory planning accuracy and liaise with import and sales team.
- In conjunction with supply operations, set inventory stock level and report compliance.
- Set up stock metrics and report them
Continuous Improvement Initiatives:
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying and executing continuous improvement projects across the supply chain.
- Implement Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies to drive operational excellence.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement by providing training, coaching, and support to team members.
Risk Management:
- Identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure business continuity.
- Monitor global market trends, geopolitical factors, and regulatory changes that could impact supply chain operations.
- Establish contingency plans to address disruptions and minimize their impact on the supply chain and supply Operations
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in supply chain management, process optimization, and data-driven decision-making.
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in using data analysis tools and software.
- Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams.
- Proficiency in using supply chain management software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- ERP: - Support Operations on ERP improvement
- Manage and implement Supply Operations and supply chain report format and KPI dashboard on the ERP.
- Suggest improvements on the ERP for Supply Operations in terms of reports, KPI and other Metrics
- Ability to adapt to changing environments, handle ambiguity, and make informed decisions under pressure.
- Strong “A” and good emotional intelligence.
- Leadership experience with the ability to motivate and manage cross-functional teams.
