Job Responsibilities

• To manage continuous research, and review of formulations in skin and hair care towards improved applications in products


• To identify consumer, competitor and market insights, and apply to innovations


• To define and manage the development of new/improved products and evaluation against strategy.


• Develop new (analytical and claim substantiation) test methods and generate claim substantiation documents


• To identify gaps and new opportunities for product development/ improvement in area of specialization


• Develop claim substantiation methods and validate new methods in application.


• Identify and manage collaboration  opportunities


• Keep up to date with technology understanding and tracking, consumer and market research


• Understand and Manage consumer and marketing research needs

Job Requirements

• BSc Chemistry/Biochemistry , Diploma in cosmetic science will be an added advantage minimum 2-3 years experience.


• Formulation development, laboratory production and analyses skills


• Effective communication skills


• Excellent Presentation and Report Writing skills
